Directions for use

Take 1g (1/4 teaspoon) per day, dissolved in a glass of water or fruit juice. Can be split into several doses throughout the day.

L(+) ascorbic acid is chemically identical to the vitamin C found in fruit: the body does not tell the two apart. What fruit adds are co-factors — bioflavonoids, polyphenols — that a pure powder does not contain. The pure powder, for its part, allows exact dosing and a markedly lower cost per gram.
The powder has a purity of at least 99.7% L(+) ascorbic acid, checked by HPLC analysis, where the European Pharmacopoeia requires a minimum of 99.0%. It is produced in Europe to GMP standards, and the batch certificate of analysis is available on request.
Dissolve a quarter of a level teaspoon, around 1.1 g, in a glass of water, a fruit juice or a smoothie: this provides around 1,000 mg of vitamin C. Preferably with a meal, for better digestive tolerance. A simple snack is enough.
Beyond around 1 gram, absorption levels off and the excess is eliminated in the urine; the unabsorbed fraction mainly causes digestive discomfort. EFSA has not set an upper safe limit for vitamin C; the US authority uses 2,000 mg per day. Above usual intakes, spread the doses over the day and ask your doctor for advice.
Yes. This is L-ascorbic acid obtained by fermentation, with no ingredient of animal origin, no gelatine and no lactose. The composition is single-ingredient: no additives, no excipients, no flavourings.
Yes, it goes with most supplements. Taken with the same meal, it clearly improves the absorption of non-heme iron, the form found in plants. At high doses, it is better to leave a gap between it and a vitamin B12. Take the total vitamin C dose into account if several products provide it.
At room temperature, between 15 and 25 °C, away from light and moisture, with the pouch or jar carefully resealed. Do not keep it in the fridge: condensation degrades the powder. Use a dry spoon. Once opened, allow 6 to 12 months depending on storage conditions.
Not without care. Vitamin C degrades quickly above 70 °C: do not add it to boiling tea or coffee. Wait until the drink has cooled below 60 °C. Cold water or a fruit juice remain the best carrier, as acidity improves solubility.
